Who We Are
An Independent AI Oversight & Governance Firm
ETE Oversight was founded on a straightforward premise: as organizations adopt artificial intelligence, they need independent, structured oversight — not more AI tools, not vendor-sponsored guidance, and not vague reassurances that everything will be fine.
Leadership
Reza Etemad
Founder & Principal
Building accountability into the age of AI.
Reza Etemad founded ETE Oversight with a straightforward conviction: as artificial intelligence becomes embedded in the day-to-day operations of businesses, government agencies, and professional services, there must be structure, accountability, and human oversight to ensure it is used responsibly.
The rapid adoption of AI tools across industries has created a significant gap between the speed of AI implementation and the governance structures needed to manage it. Businesses are adopting tools like ChatGPT, AI automation platforms, and AI-assisted decision systems faster than they are creating policies to govern their use. ETE Oversight was created to close that gap.
ETE Oversight operates without a physical office by design. AI governance challenges are not confined to any single city, state, or industry. The organization provides services nationwide across a wide range of sectors — from small businesses and healthcare providers to government contractors and professional service firms.
The approach is built on practical outcomes: documented risk reviews, clear internal policies, compliance readiness assessments, and ongoing governance support. The goal is not to slow AI adoption — it is to ensure that adoption is documented, accountable, and structured before problems occur.
Our Mission
Helping Organizations Use AI Responsibly
Our mission is to help businesses, professional offices, and organizations adopt artificial intelligence with the structure, accountability, and documentation that responsible use requires.
We believe that AI is a powerful and legitimate tool — and that its value is best realized when organizations have clear policies, documented processes, and genuine human oversight in place. Without those foundations, AI adoption creates risk that compounds over time.
ETE Oversight provides the independent review, policy creation, and compliance readiness support that organizations need to use AI confidently — and to demonstrate that confidence to clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
Guiding Principles
- AI governance must be documented, not assumed.
- Human oversight is not optional — it is the standard.
- Risk that is not reviewed is risk that is accepted.
- Policy without enforcement is decoration.
- Compliance readiness begins before regulation arrives.
- Every organization using AI has a responsibility to its stakeholders.
Our Story
Built for the Moment AI Became Unavoidable
ETE Oversight was established in response to a clear and growing gap: businesses across every sector were adopting AI tools rapidly, but the governance infrastructure — the policies, the reviews, the documentation, the accountability structures — was not keeping pace.
The risks were not hypothetical. Organizations were publishing AI-generated content without review. Employees were entering sensitive client data into public AI platforms. Hiring decisions were being influenced by AI outputs that no one had audited for bias. And in most cases, there was no written policy, no documented process, and no clear accountability when something went wrong.
We built ETE Oversight to fill that gap — with structured methodology, written deliverables, and independent perspective. We are not here to slow down AI adoption. We are here to make sure it happens responsibly.
What We Stand For
Our Values
Transparency
We are direct about what AI can and cannot do, what risks exist, and what your organization needs to address. No vague reassurances.
Documentation
Every engagement produces written deliverables. Oversight without documentation is not oversight — it is conversation.
Independence
We have no AI tools to sell, no vendor relationships to protect, and no incentive to minimize risk. Our only obligation is to your organization.
Human Accountability
AI does not make decisions — people do. We help organizations maintain clear human accountability for every AI-assisted process.
Structured Rigor
We apply consistent, documented frameworks to every review. Our work is repeatable, defensible, and built to withstand scrutiny.
Practical Guidance
We translate complex AI governance concepts into plain-language policies and actionable steps your team can implement immediately.
How We Work
Independent. Structured. Documentation-First.
Every ETE Oversight engagement follows a structured methodology. We begin with a thorough intake process to understand your organization's current AI use, existing policies, and specific concerns. We then conduct a systematic review using documented frameworks — not informal conversations or generic checklists.
Every engagement concludes with written deliverables: risk reports, policy documents, compliance checklists, or review summaries that your team can reference, act on, and present to leadership, clients, or regulators. We do not deliver verbal summaries and call it done.
No AI Tools to Sell
We are a services firm, not a software company. Our recommendations are never influenced by vendor relationships.
Written Deliverables Every Time
Every engagement produces documents your team can use, file, and reference. No verbal-only findings.
Sector-Specific Context
We understand the regulatory and operational context of the industries we serve — from healthcare to legal to financial services.
Scalable Engagements
From a focused risk assessment to ongoing oversight, our services are scoped to fit your organization's size and needs.
